George Jones “Almonds” Pattern Jug & Basin – Victorian Transferware Set
£ 225.00
On offer is an antique George Jones jug and basin in the desirable “Almonds” pattern, a late 19th-century black transferware design depicting birds among blossoming branches. George Jones & Sons, active from the mid-1800s, were known for their high-quality earthenware and richly detailed Victorian patterns, many of which are now keenly collected.
This large wash set comprises an impressive 11-inch jug and a generously sized basin measuring approximately 15.25 inches in diameter and 5 inches deep. The maker’s mark is present on the base. Condition is excellent for its age, with no chips or cracks and only minor age-related wear.
A fine and decorative example of Victorian George Jones transferware.
