On offer is a pottery money box formed as a lady figure, finished in a lustre glazed surface. The figure is modelled standing with hands together, wearing period style clothing, and decorated in contrasting tones that are enhanced by the reflective lustre finish. This type of figural money box was commonly produced in the early to mid 20th century as both a decorative and functional household item.

The glazed surface gives the piece visual depth, while the sculptural form shows careful modelling typical of decorative pottery of the period. The money box remains a solid and visually striking example, retaining its original character. A fine example of a lustre glazed pottery money box that brings character and authenticity to any interior.
