On offer is a Fulham Pottery stoneware tankard made by David Birch in 1978. Crafted from warm red clay, it features a glossy brown glazed rim and the City of London coat of arms moulded in crisp relief, together with the motto “Domine Dirige Nos”.
David Birch trained at the Royal College of Art and worked with both Poole Pottery and Fulham Pottery before founding the London Pottery Company.
