On offer is a vintage Franz Welz Bohemian spatter glass covered vanity jar, made in Czechoslovakia around the 1930s. The white cased glass body is richly decorated with blue, red and green mottled spatter inclusions, with a clear glass ball finial to the lid.

The jar is displayed with its clear ruffled glass underplate, giving the piece an especially decorative presentation. Franz Welz was a noted Bohemian glassworks, recognised for its colourful and inventive art glass of the early twentieth century. A striking example of Franz Welz Bohemian spatter glass.
