On offer is a rare framed 1979 Coney Beach Porthcawl fairground print, signed by an unidentified artist. The detailed composition records the famous helter skelter, roller coaster track, dodgems signage and other attractions that formed part of this much loved South Wales pleasure park.

Coney Beach Pleasure Park opened in Porthcawl in 1918 and reportedly took its name from New York’s Coney Island. It entertained generations of visitors for 107 years before closing permanently in October 2025. This signed 1979 Coney Beach Porthcawl fairground print captures the park during its thriving twentieth century years and is now a scarce memento of a vanished local landmark.

The frame was opened only for cleaning. There is minor damage to its top right corner and some age related spotting, although the print remains in very good condition. The original 1970s frame has deliberately been retained and the print is sold exactly as shown. The buyer can keep the original presentation or replace the frame themselves after purchase. Reframing is not included.
