The substantial stopper is decorated with sculptural flowers, leaves and berries in relief. It is signed Ottaviani and marked for 925 sterling silver. The supplied hallmark identification records additional Sheffield import marks for 1993, although these are not sufficiently clear in the photographs for independent verification.
