Early 19th Century Swansea Porcelain Hand Painted Plate

£ 145.00

On offer here is an early 19th-century hand-painted porcelain plate, this plate isn’t signed by a maker, it does have a retailer’s mark written in red enamel ( Jarrin Bond Street ). I believe this plate is Welsh and produced by Swansea, the flowers and enamels are right for Swansea porcelain, the red that the retailer’s mark is written in is also correct for examples that are marked with Swansea in a script, and I have found a very similar example on a website that specializes in Swansea and Nantgarw porcelain, the website address is below and I have taken a screenshot of the plate they sold for over £900 pounds. this plate has some wear to the gilding and a small chip on the back, the size is approx 8.5 inches in diameter. stock code 290324
