Davidson Amber Cloud Glass Bowl Art Deco Swirled Pattern
£20.00
On offer is an Art Deco Davidson amber cloud glass bowl dating from the 1930s. Made from pressed glass, the bowl displays distinctive amber and dark brown swirls that create the atmospheric marbled appearance associated with Davidson cloud glass.
The bowl has a broad flared rim, moulded body and circular foot. George Davidson and Company introduced amber cloud glass during the 1920s, and its individually varied swirling patterns became a recognised feature of British Art Deco glass. This Davidson amber cloud glass bowl remains an attractive example despite two tiny flea bites on the inner base.
