On offer is a Welsh Thomas and Williams miners safety lamp, a well-known maker based in Aberdare and later Tredegar, whose lamps were widely used across British coalfields from the late 19th century onward. This example shows heavy signs of service, with extensive rusting and the burner missing, reflecting a lamp that has clearly seen significant use underground. The lamp stands approximately 9.5 inches tall without the handle.

A genuine working-life Thomas and Williams mining lamp, valued for its authenticity and strong industrial character.
