On offer is a small hand thrown vase by Claypits Pottery of Ewenny, South Wales. Standing approximately 3 inches tall, it has a rounded stoneware body finished in a softly mottled grey green glaze with natural speckling and tonal variation.

The most distinctive features are the two abstract sculptural handles, formed with rounded heads and wing like elements. The unglazed foot is impressed Clay Pits Wales. Claypits is one of the historic potteries associated with the long ceramic tradition of Ewenny.
