The natural horn has been shaped and polished, then fitted with silver coloured metal mounts around the rim and base. Two fixed side rings are also present. The mounts are believed to be silver plated but are not visibly hallmarked, so solid silver is not being claimed.

Measuring approximately 4.75 inches tall, this Paraguayan horn guampa cup remains in good vintage condition with an aged patina, tarnishing and light surface wear but no major damage.
