Old Willow Teapot Booths Real Old Willow Post 1944
£45.00
On offer is a Booths Real Old Willow pattern teapot, produced post 1944 following the introduction of this well known design. The teapot is decorated in the classic blue and white willow pattern, featuring the traditional landscape scene with trees, buildings and birds, finished with a patterned border and gilt detailing to the lid and shoulder.
Booths of England were highly regarded for their pottery and tableware, particularly during the 20th century, and their Real Old Willow pattern is considered one of the finer interpretations of the traditional willow design. This teapot reflects the quality of Booths production, with balanced form, clear printing and good glazing.
The teapot is in good condition. There is minor crazing consistent with age, no chips or cracks, and a small firing flaw to the internal rim where the lid sits. These points do not affect display or use.
A well preserved example of English Booths pottery that displays well as part of a willow pattern service or on its own.
