Victorian Glass Celery Vase with Registered Design Lozenge – 23 June 1853

£35.00

On offer is a beautiful mid-19th-century Victorian moulded glass celery vase, an especially attractive example featuring an optic-lens pattern that gives the piece great depth and visual appeal. The vase carries a crisp, fully legible Registered Design Lozenge, dating it precisely to Class 3, Parcel 2 – 23 June 1853.

Standing at just under 9 inches tall, the vase remains in good original condition for its age. Minor flea-bite chips can be found around the occasional lens and a few tiny nicks are present on the frosted areas, all commensurate with almost 170 years of handling and display. A fine and well-documented piece of early Victorian pressed glass.
