Saunders and Hollings were respected late 19th century silversmiths, producing high quality small silverware with finely detailed engraving. Chester silver is especially sought after today following the closure of the historic Chester Assay Office. Measuring approximately 25mm in height, this Victorian sterling silver thimble remains in very good condition with no holes and only light age related wear from careful use.
