The antique sterling silver enamel butterfly horseshoe brooch features vibrant hand enamelled decoration in shades of green, blue and purple, creating an eye catching contrast against the silver frame. The brooch remains in good condition with only a tiny area of enamel loss to the edge of the left wing, visible only under magnification. Measuring approximately 17mm wide, it is a fine example of early twentieth century enamel jewellery.
