On offer is an antique Japanese champlevé enamel and brass vase from the Meiji period (1868–1912). The piece is decorated with carved and enamel-filled bands featuring stylised dragons, mythological motifs, and geometric patterns in rich blue, green, red, and white tones. The brass body is finely incised with a textured ground that enhances the contrast of the enamel work, and the vase is fitted with applied mask handles and rings.

Champlevé enamelling was widely employed during the Meiji era and is known for its durability and intricate detail, making this vase an excellent example of the technique. Standing at approximately 12.5 inches (32 cm) tall, it presents strong decorative appeal. Condition is good antique with minor enamel wear and a small dent near one handle, as shown in the images.
