Antique Japanese Imari Porcelain Vase Hand Painted
£30.00
On offer is an antique hand painted Japanese Imari porcelain vase decorated in the traditional Imari palette of underglaze blue with iron-red and gilt enamel accents. Imari ware, produced in Japan from the 17th century onward, became highly regarded for its vibrant colours and bold floral designs, widely exported to Europe during the Edo period.
This vase stands approximately 4.5 inches tall and displays well-executed floral panels with strong colour retention. The condition is good with no chips or cracks. It may originally have had a cover, as is common with this form. A charming and authentic example of Japanese Imari craftsmanship.
