On offer is an antique Georgian hand blown champagne flute glass dating to around 1830. Crafted from clear flint glass, this elegant flute features a tapered slice cut bowl, plain stem and traditional three part construction. The ground and polished pontil mark reflects the high standard of workmanship found in quality Georgian glasshouses, making it a fine example of early nineteenth century drinking glass.

The combination of a slice cut bowl and polished pontil is characteristic of quality hand finished manufacture from the period.
