On offer is an antique early 19th century copper and brass kettle with traditional dovetail seam construction. It has a substantial copper body, angular spout and an elegant brass swing handle with a decoratively turned central grip.

The fitted lid features embossed radiating decoration and a turned brass finial. No maker’s mark has been found. The kettle retains a rich natural patina and shows minor dents around the upper and lower rims, consistent with its age and previous use.
