19th Century Victorian Hand Blown Glass Fly and Wasp Trap
£45.00
On offer is a 19th century Victorian glass fly and wasp trap, hand blown and raised on three applied feet. These traps were commonly used throughout the Victorian period, with their rounded bodies and narrow necks designed to attract and contain insects. The handmade nature of this example is evident in the subtle glass variations and the neatly formed feet.
Condition is good for age, with some small chips around the rim noted for accuracy. The trap stands at approx. 6.5 inches tall.
A charming and evocative Victorian glass insect trap with classic period form.
