On offer is a beautifully crafted late 19th-century Kutch Indian silver dish, dating to around 1890. This fine example of regional silversmithing features the richly detailed repoussé work for which Kutch silver is renowned, displaying scrolling floral motifs and an ornate pierced border worked entirely by hand.

Although unmarked, the dish has been acid-tested and confirmed as silver, consistent with much 19th-century Indian silverware, which was often produced without formal hallmarks. The craftsmanship closely follows the distinctive Kutch style that flourished in Gujarat, celebrated for its elaborate, high-relief decoration and exceptional artistry.

Measuring approximately 4 inches (10 cm) in diameter and weighing around 91 grams, the dish remains in good antique condition. Minor dents, surface scratches, and a few gently bent petals can be seen, all commensurate with age and use.
