20th Century Brass Bronze Lion Head Door Knocker with Tudor Rose

On offer is a heavy 20th century brass or bronze door knocker featuring a boldly cast lion’s head in high relief, framed within a circular back plate. The knocker itself is shaped with a Tudor rose, adding a distinctly British decorative element. The casting is crisp with good detail and retains its original aged patina.

The door knocker measures approx. 6.5 inches in diameter. There are four screw holes on the reverse, with spacing of approx. 135mm and 125mm between the fixings.

A substantial and well-made vintage door knocker with classic lion mask and Tudor rose design.
