On offer is a 20th century Chinese famille rose porcelain vase decorated with a colourful bird perched upon a flowering branch. The neck and borders feature traditional pink, turquoise, yellow and red enamel decoration.

The reverse carries a calligraphic inscription translating as, “Flowers bloom on the branches and birds compete in song.” The base bears a four character apocryphal Qianlong reign mark.
