On offer is a substantial 19th century Victorian champagne bucket crafted from copper with an elaborate bronze frame. The piece displays finely cast classical motifs, scrollwork and an openwork base typical of high-quality Victorian metalware. Standing approximately 14 inches tall with a diameter of about 13.5 inches, it is both decorative and functional, retaining its original aged patina.
The copper vessel has a rich warm tone, and the bronze frame features cast loop handles—one now missing. Surface marks and wear are consistent with age. Owing to its weight of around 15 kg packed, this example is offered for UK sale only. A striking piece of late 19th-century British craftsmanship.
