On offer here is a rare 19th Century Victorian Silver plate and white metal Fish Serving Set. This set dates between 1867 and 1888. that is the period the lozenge mark type was used. the blade of the knife part is engraved with a fish. both handles have the lozenge mark, I can not see any hallmarks on the handles so they could be silver or silver plate so sold as white metal. the handles have an engine turn pattern decoration which is just beautiful. the knife is approx 12.75 inches long, the fork is approx 9.75 inches long. the condition is good, there is some wear to the box. stock code VSPFSS001
