On offer is a 19th-century Victorian glass sweetmeat dish, hand-blown in English lead glass with a distinctive double knop baluster stem. The bowl shows the characteristic oily grey tone and visible striations associated with early hand-worked glass, while the underside features a large ground and polished pontil with authentic wear. This form, size and stem type are typical of mid- to late-Victorian table glass.
The dish is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and measures approx. 5.25 inches tall with a bowl diameter of around 5 inches.
