Chinese Porcelain Vase 19th Century Kangxi Revival Hand Painted
£ 75.00
On offer is a fine 19th century Chinese porcelain vase produced in the Kangxi revival style. This hand-painted piece features underglaze cobalt blue decoration on a soft white body, with floral and landscape motifs arranged in shaped cartouches that echo the elegance of early Qing dynasty Kangxi wares (1661–1722). The base carries a four-character Kangxi mark, added in keeping with the revival tradition to honour earlier imperial craftsmanship.
Standing at approximately 5.25 inches tall, the vase remains in good antique condition. There is minor glaze fritting around the foot rim, a common feature of porcelain from this period, but no major chips, cracks or restoration. A well-painted and refined example of 19th century Chinese porcelain, firmly within the Kangxi revival tradition.
