Thomas Webb Crystal Pitcher Engraved Barley Pattern Jug
£55.00
On offer is a hand blown Thomas Webb crystal pitcher, produced during the 1950s and bearing the Webb England mark used between 1950 and 1966. Expertly made in three parts with a separately applied handle and foot, the pitcher features a finely engraved barley pattern and a carefully shaped pinched lip designed to retain ice while pouring. Founded in Stourbridge during the 19th century, Thomas Webb became one of Britain’s finest crystal manufacturers, renowned for exceptional clarity, engraving and craftsmanship.
The pitcher stands approximately 8.5 inches tall and remains in good condition with no chips or cracks. There are light internal scratches consistent with age and careful use, but these do not detract from its appearance or display quality. A beautiful example of mid century English crystal by one of the country’s most respected glassmakers.
