On offer is a scarce 1930s brass extending toasting fork featuring an ingenious cantilever mechanism. The handle is cast as a sailing galleon, possibly inspired by historic Tudor vessels, and the reverse carries the registered design number 765958, confirming its 1930s date. Measuring approximately 11 inches when closed and extending to around 21 inches when open, it survives in good condition with age-appropriate wear. A fine example of a 1930s brass extending toasting fork and a charming piece of British domestic design.
