On offer is a 1930s Art Deco carved oak picture frame, formed in the classic stepped design associated with the period. Unlike later laminated versions, this example is carved from solid oak, giving the frame both weight and crisp definition to its geometric contours.

The frame includes two rough-cut glass panels that slide into the side grooves, allowing a photograph to be held securely between them. It measures approximately 7 inches tall by 8.5 inches wide and will accommodate an image a little under 6 inches by 4 inches. Condition is good with light age-related wear and roughness to the edges of the glass as shown. A fine original Deco display frame with authentic period character.
