Chinese Porcelain Plate Qianlong Period 18th Century Willow Pattern
£95.00
On offer is an 18th-century Chinese export porcelain plate from the Qianlong period, dating to circa 1780. This octagonal plate is decorated in underglaze blue with a Chinese landscape featuring pavilions, trees, water, and birds — a composition closely related to the early willow pattern designs that later inspired Western manufacturers. The border is finely painted with scrollwork and butterfly motifs, using deep cobalt tones typical of quality Qianlong production.
Measuring approximately 9 inches (23 cm) in diameter, the plate is in good antique condition. It has no chips or cracks, with only minor rim fritting consistent with genuine Qing export ware of the late 18th century.
A well-executed Qianlong period porcelain plate with an attractive landscape scene and strong decorative appeal.
