On offer is an 18th-century English creamware plate dating to around 1780–1800, decorated by hand with a lively polychrome floral design. The central arrangement features red, blue, green, and black enamel flowers, complemented by further scattered blooms around the rim. Creamware was a widely admired English ceramic of the Georgian period, produced by numerous potteries known for their light bodies and fine enamel work.
The plate measures approximately 9.5 inches in diameter and remains in very good condition for its age. The enamels are bright, with only minor rim fritting typical of early creamware.
