The Mission: Hard-Earned Knowledge in a Synthetic World
This is not a call for guest posts or social media collaborations.
This is an acquisition program.
At Antiques Arena, we actively purchase high-level educational content for integration into our Academy. As the platform scales, so will our investment in the specialists who form its foundation.
In this trade, the most valuable asset is never the object itself. It is the knowledge required to recognise it.
The market is saturated with shallow, generated content. We value real experience — the lessons earned through years of buying, selling, negotiating, and making mistakes. Unscripted, boots-on-the-ground expertise is the gold standard.
We are building the definitive library of the trade. To do that, we are acquiring the lived reality of specialists, pickers, and veteran dealers.
What We Are Buying
We are not interested in “top ten” lists or surface-level commentary.
We are buying depth.
What we are not buying: Over-produced vlog-style content, scripted clickbait, or information that can be found in a five-minute search engine query.
Whether your expertise lies in 18th-century porcelain, high-volume Lego investing, Pokémon grading, or philately, we want content that delivers:
The Eye
Technical breakdowns showing how to identify the rare 1% hidden within the noise.
The Buy
Real footage of sourcing, negotiation, and acquisition — the mechanics of securing stock in the real world.
The Engine
A clear view of profit structure: fees, logistics, grading realities, and the risks specific to your niche.
Technical Standard
We are acquiring your raw expertise — not high-end production. We value the content far more than the production.
Do not invest time in polished editing, graphics, or cinematic presentation. If the material delivers genuine trade value, even footage recorded on a phone will be considered — provided the picture is clear and the audio is intelligible.
We want the honest, unfiltered mechanics of the trade. Our team handles the technical engine of integration and distribution.
The Anchor
The mistakes. The losses. The resilience required to stay in the trade long term.
Areas of Interest
We are open to all areas within the antiques and collectibles trade.
There are no fixed category limits. If your expertise sits within the broader antique, vintage, or collectible markets — and it delivers genuine educational value — we are interested.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
Philately
Perforations, postal marks, forged overprints, and technical identification.
Ceramics & Decorative Arts
Porcelain, pottery, glass, metalware, and period attribution.
Modern Collectibles
Vintage Lego, condition-sensitive TCG markets, graded cards, and contemporary investment niches.
Jewellery, Watches & Precious Items
Identification, authentication, valuation structures, and trade realities.
The Trade Itself
Estate clearances, auction circuits, buying environments, negotiation strategy, and operational logistics.
If it exists within the antique or collectible ecosystem — and you can teach it from experience — it falls within scope.
Originality & Duplication
We do not actively seek duplicate content unless a contributor offers a genuinely distinct angle, methodology, or point of view.
We will consider acquiring existing YouTube content, provided it meets our standards. If purchased, the video must be removed from YouTube and any other public platforms, as the Academy requires exclusive rights.
If you are considering creating new material specifically for us, you are welcome to contact us first to confirm whether your proposed subject area is currently required.
At present, we are particularly underrepresented in:
- Toys
- Vinyl records
- Sports memorabilia
- Vintage media
- Textiles
- Scientific instruments
- Musical instruments
- Fine art
- African art
The Terms: Professional Acquisition, Not “Exposure”
We respect the trade. We respect your time. We pay for expertise.
What You Receive
When we acquire your content, this is a structured professional transaction designed to position your expertise within a growing specialist platform.
1. Fixed Acquisition Honorarium
We provide a flat-fee honorarium for the exclusive, perpetual rights to approved content. Payment is issued upon acceptance. This is a clean-break acquisition model: no royalties, no revenue splits, and no dependency on volatile social media algorithms.
This structure allows us to maintain an accessible, diverse Academy without long-term royalty management. While the honorarium provides immediate compensation for your contribution, the primary strategic value lies in permanent attribution and the lifetime digital asset of an authority backlink within the Antiques Arena ecosystem.
While we acquire the exclusive rights to the specific footage provided, you naturally retain your own expertise, brand, and ability to operate within your niche.
As the Academy scales, we will periodically review and adjust our content investment structure.
2. Permanent Attribution Within the Academy
Your name and brand are embedded within the video itself. Your contribution becomes part of the permanent Academy archive — not a temporary post, but a long-term reference asset.
3. Contributor Listing Within the Academy
You are featured on our dedicated contributor page within the Academy, outlining your specialty and professional background. This positions you within a curated network of recognised trade specialists.
4. Permanent Backlink From Our Contributor Page
Our contributor page includes a permanent direct link to your chosen website, channel, or professional platform. As Antiques Arena expands its reach, that link remains embedded within a growing authority platform in the trade.
5. Long-Term Visibility Within a Specialist Audience
Your work remains integrated within the Academy as it grows. The Academy attracts serious buyers, collectors, and students of the trade — not casual traffic. Your expertise is positioned directly in front of that audience over time.
6. Priority for Future Content Opportunities
Contributors who help build the foundation of the Academy receive priority consideration for future video acquisitions. This can become an ongoing professional relationship, provided each submission covers distinct areas of expertise and meets our standards.
7. Professional Integration and Distribution
We manage editing, hosting, integration, and platform distribution. Your focus remains on expertise. Ours remains on building and scaling a definitive trade library.
How to Apply
We prioritise quality over quantity.
If you possess The Eye for a defined category and The Anchor to speak plainly about it, we want to review your work.
Send a brief overview of your specialty and examples of relevant footage to:
Please also include a short 30-second raw clip of you in your sourcing environment or handling a relevant item within your niche. This is not for production quality — it simply confirms practical, boots-on-the-ground experience.
The trade is changing. The knowledge should remain with the people who actually do the work.
