On offer here is a stunning vintage brooch formed as a large Eagle with wings outstretched and talons flared. It’s decorated with sparkling marcasite studs and a red stone or glass eye. This brooch has been produced in solid silver and fitted with a strong pin and locking clasp to hold it securely when worn. It’s in excellent condition and a great talking piece. The total weight is approx 35.6 grams and it measures at approx 3.5 inches wide wingspan. The casting of this brooch is superb, it does have a deco feel to it with the square design on the wings. overall this is just a stunning brooch.
