On offer here is a beautiful piece of silk work. Here we have an image of a mother and daughter/child hugging. they are stitched in fine silks. As you can see from my images the quality of the work is just beautiful, I don’t know if this would class as embroidery or a sampler however in its original oval frame it really looks amazing. frame size approx 10 by 8 inches. there is an inscription on the reverse where this was gifted in 1982 however I believe the work was created prior to this.
