On offer here is a superb large arts and crafts container. i am un-decided if this is a large tea caddy or a biscuit barrel, for me its a biscuit barrel however it has been tin lined which they did with tea caddies. it is a beautiful example with hammered oak leave and acorns and an acorn finial. it has its original patina and stands at approx 8 inches tall with finial and aprpox 4.5 inches widest point, it is signed to the base but i havent been able to find the maker. overall condition is very good with wear commensurate to age.
