On offer here is a superb and Rare Antique German Salt Glaze Stoneware Stein / Jug of globular form with incised and applied floral decoration By Westerwald. This piece is approximately 7 inches tall, the condition is very good however there is a small chip on the outer top rim, Please see the images. This piece is unmarked however before the middle of the 19th century 1850 – 1870 they saw no reason to mark their wares.
