On offer here is a late 19th to very early 20th-century Rare Antique Advertising Glass Paperweight. This paperweight has a cut glass design with the writing cut into the base, United Asbestos Co Ltd Salamander Decorations London. the paperweight measures at approx 3.25 inches in diameter. The condition for its age is good. the surface has lots of little marks and microchips that you would find on paperweights of this age, you can have them repolished however this is original and beautiful. there is also a rough ring around the paperweight, my thoughts are it was either mounted in marble or it may have had a sterling silver rim which was stolen. either way, this is a fabulous paperweight and a very rare piece of advertising.
