On offer here is a very interesting spoon. Looking at the spoon, the shape and style I am thinking it is Persian or maybe middle eastern. The spoon shape suggests to me that it is for tea or ceremonial for spice. I have acid tested the spoon and it is testing as silver, it is stamped SS not sure if that was meant to be for sterling silver. The stone in the handle has been tested in the Presidium Gem Tester II and it is coming up as a garnet. The condition of the spoon is good, the size is approx 5.5 inches long.
