On offer is a stunning 19th-century silver-plated butter server, Item 4940 from the 1886 Meriden Company catalogue. This elegant Victorian-era piece was made by the Meriden Company, which later merged with 1847 Rogers Bros and eventually became Meriden Britannia Co.

Estimated Production Period: 1862 – 1877

This ornate domed butter dish stands at approx. 12.5 inches tall and features intricate Victorian floral engravings. Originally, it had a fork holder on the side, most likely for serving asparagus, but that piece is no longer present.
