On offer here is a stunning Blue and White English Jasperware / Jasper Ware Biscuit Barrel produced by Adams. The classical scene is very roman in its style, the translucent opaque white is beautiful against the dark blue. The barrel stands at approx 5.5 inches tall without counting the handle. the condition is good with no chips or cracks, all the silver plate has worn so the metal is down to nickel and the lid wobbles a little, but you would never store biscuits in these, they are for display or for serving only.
