On offer here is a beautiful vintage Chinese lacquer jewelry or trinket box. this box has a tan lacquer finish to the sides and bottom, there is a beautiful hand-painted scene on the lid of a lady sitting on a bench. the box has brass brackets and a lock, the lock is beautiful in itself with a clip that comes over and then a swing lock bar. the box is in good condition, it does have wear commensurate to age and use, there is some wear to the top and some chipping to the edges, please see the images. the box measures at approx 6.25 by 5.25 inches and is 2.5 inches high.
