On offer here is an Antique very heavy solid brass candlestick. This candlestick stands at approx 10 inches tall and has a base diameter of approx 6 inches. The candlestick has an unpacked weight of a little over two kilos. heavy brass candlestick with baluster stem with a swelled knop, hexagonal mid-drip pan with cast masks on a domed hexagonal base with engraved anthemion.

I am not certain of the age, I have done a little research on this candlestick as it stood out to me as being quite rare, I found an identical example sold at Skinner auction house as a 17th-century candlestick and the final bid price was $1440. This candlestick does have some good age however I do not know exactly how much. This could be the same as the example sold through Skinner’s auction or a later copy, please view the images and judge for yourself.
