A hand-carved antique Conch shell cameo lamp is on sale here. This lamp is beautifully carved, with the appearance of a volcano and the sea. I would say it’s Pompeii because a lot of cameos and so on come from Italy. What you have here is a carved shell and foundation; this lamp needs to be rewired. The shell is approx. 6 inches thick, the base has some slight denting and wears commensurate with age and use.
