On offer here is an antique 19th-century Chinese carved ivory fan. this example is in my opinion walrus ivory, it is beautifully carved, the size is approx 13 inches when open, and there are twenty blades each one at approx 7.25 inches long. The condition is good, there are some minor chips but most of them there is damage to the carved areas, etc. This example is in good condition, the ribbon has rotted away with age, The fan will need a new silk ribbon.
