On offer here is a stunning antique bronze or early bell metal / brass bowl. this bowl has a stunning patina colour and good shape, there are letters and numbers inscribed into the bowl and these cuts have patina consistent with the rest of the bowl. There are the letters AH and MV and the numbers 1700. I have no idea if this relates to the date of the bowl or if the date meant something to whoever carved the letters and numbers into it. the size is approx 13 inches by 9.25 inches and 2  inches high. the condition is good. this is a heavy piece for its size at approx 1.5 kilos unpacked.
