On offer here is a beautiful 20th Century Indian Hand Carved Opium Milk / Water Bowl or Jug. This example has been hand carved and constructed in two parts, I have pointed to the seams in the images for you. the bowl or jug has a spout to pour the opium milk, the piece is hand-carved with clearly visible chisel marks. the piece has a good patina and it is in good condition, the handle is formed as a bird and the spout is rolled, in copper. the size is approx 11 inches long, 4.5 inches wide, and 3 inches high.
