The mark dates this jug exactly to the day it was made, 20th of April 1866. the jug was made by W. BROWNFIELD. COBRIDGE. ALLOA. This jug was produced in the shape of a barrel with grapes and veins and barley growing around the rim. the condition is good with no chips or cracks, there is some minor staining on the surface. the jug stands at approx 6.25 inches tall.
